"Converted to a public company under the name Unique Plastic Industry Public Company Limited in preparation for IPO readiness. The Company also achieved ISCC+, FSSC 22000, and HACCP certifications, while investing in technologies supporting Mono Structure and Ready-to-Recycle packaging solutions."

Expanded production capacity through the installation of more than 20 new blown film machines and obtained Carbon Footprint Certification.

2022

Launched the “Right First Time” initiative to enhance production efficiency and quality standards, while achieving Green Industry Level 4 certification.

2021

Implemented organizational restructuring and strengthened management systems with a focus on manufacturing excellence, innovation, and workforce development.

2020

Established Smile Distribution Co., Ltd. (SMILE) to expand market presence in Bangkok and metropolitan areas.

2018

Introduced a new corporate identity together with the company’s vision, mission, and core values under the concept of “HARMONY”.

2016

Established Unique Plastic Industry (Mae Sot) Co., Ltd. (UPI-M) to support manufacturing expansion and both domestic and international market growth.

2014

Achieved ISO 9001 and GMP certifications, reinforcing international quality standards.

2006

Commenced production of Heavy Duty Sack packaging and became one of Thailand’s leading suppliers of FFS Film for global petrochemical manufacturers.

2001

Invested in high-performance European blown film machinery and entered the laminated film business.

2000

Transferred business management to the second generation of the Nawachotkosit family and expanded business operations.

1993

Expanded the business from household packaging into industrial packaging solutions.

1990

Renamed the company to Unique Plastic Industry Co., Ltd.

1988

Founded Unique Plast Pack Co., Ltd. to manufacture and distribute household packaging products under the brands “The Key” and “Mittraphap”.
